Micro SD Card Locked No Switch

I talked about how to fix the "memory card locked" error in another post , but what happens if you have a Micro SD card that is locked and has no switch. If you have a micro SD card that shows as locked, the fix is to borrow or buy an SD card adapter. Slot the Micro SD card into the adapter and flick the switch up for unlock. Then, take the Micro SD card out of the adapter and place it in whatever device you were trying to use it in when it gave the "locked" message. It should now be unlocked. Buy an Adapter from: Amazon UK | Amazon USA | Amazon Canada If it isn't unlocked, do the same procedure again but this time put the adapter with the Micro SD card inside into a compatible device and turn it on. Canon PowerShot S2 IS Memory Card Error

The memory card error associated with the Canon PowerShot S2 IS is fairly widespread. I recently bought an S2 IS and had this problem myself. I have now fixed it, and I will tell you what I did in a moment. That's not to say what fixed it for me will work for everyone who experiences this memory card issue. However, it's certainly worth a try. First off, the Canon PowerShot S2 IS will only hold memory cards up to 2GB. That is the maximum size it can hold. So if you have inserted a 4GB SD card, your problem, or error message is due to the card being too big. If you have stayed within the size boundaries (2GB or less) and the camera is still displaying a card error, here is what fixed it for me. Take the SD card out and put it into another camera. For me the other camera was a Samsung WB500 [ Read about it here ]. Format the card when its inside the other camera. Now place it back in the S2 IS and it should now work fine. That worked for me. This isn't really a full in-depth review, but more of a first impressions type post about the 16.1 mega pixel Canon IXUS 127 HS. I could be wrong, but from my limited research, I believe that the 127 HS is the same as the 125 HS. If not exactly the same they are at least very similar. Anyway, I've got the 127 HS model, and the reason I bought it was mainly because it can record video @ 1080p "Full HD", and its extremely small in size. And of course the price. Samsung WB500 Digital Camera Review

Samsung WB500 digital camera review. Well more of a revisited / overview really. While I have owned quite a few DSLR's and Bridge Cameras over the years, I also use, and in many ways actually prefer to use on a daily basis, capable point and shoot cameras. Whilst not as high-tech as the many DSLR's, and usually with smaller sensors than both DSLR's and Bridge Cameras, point and shoots can still deliver some impressive results. First impressions. Those two words seems quite funny considering how old this camera now is. But I have recently purchased an S2, so they are relevant. This is certainly not an in-depth review on the Canon Powershot S2 IS, but more of a quick review / first impressions of what I like and dislike about this camera. Canon S2 IS Change The Batteries Problem

What are the best cheap UK battery chargers for charging rechargeable AA batteries. At the moment I've been trying to get a camera to work that suffers from an annoying problem. The problem can be down to a number of things, and what fixes the issue for some people does not work for others. The camera in question is the Canon Powershot S2 IS, and the fault is known as the " Canon S2 IS change the batteries problem ". This is where the camera gives a "change the batteries" message, and won't power up in shoot mode, even though the batteries may be fully charged or just slightly used. There's definitely a common fault here, as its not normal for batteries to run out so fast or not be compatible with the camera, even though they are known to be compatible.
