TG-6 is another one in the series of tough waterproof digital cameras by Olympus that can withstand a lot of abuse. It has many strong features and a very durable design. The Olympus Tough TG-6 has an impressive level of resistance to water and dust. It's depth limit is 15 meters, the same as the previous model [can be used in salt water]. But you can also buy a protective underwater housing for the TG-6 so that it can go much deeper. The housings are made out of durable polycarbonate. Without the extra housing the TG-6 can withstand temperatures as low as -10℃ [-20 stored] all the way up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit when being used and 140 degrees Fahrenheit when stored.
Shockproof
It can withstand from a drop of up to 2.1 meters. Plus, it has a rugged anti-reflective lens coating that resists glare and reduces the amount of reflected light off of water. This is great news for anyone who wants to take pictures in the rain or snow without worrying about damaging their camera.

While I would have expected the minimum temperature the camera could handle to be lower than -10 when in operation, the Olympus Tough TG-6 is an almost indestructible waterproof digital action camera in all other respects, making it perfect for most activities. Granted, it's certainly not the cheapest camera out there, but with so many features, coupled with the ability to handle the bumps and bangs of life on the wild side and keep soldiering on, it's clear to see that Olympus has spent some money, time and effort designing the TG-6. The buyer certainly gets their money's worth. Available in red or black, and can be found much cheaper second hand.
