The Fort Dunlop building, located on the edge of the Bromford into the start of Erdington [Birmingham - UK] has been there for many years [since around 1917]. It used to be a tyre factory but was left derelict for many years. I used to play in there when I was young. It was quite a creepy place to explore. And I explored most of it. Even the roof. Then it got refurbished in 2006 and is now like a multi complex building, with offices,a Travelodge hotel and some shops. There's also a gym. Just like The the fort shopping park, which is just down the road from Dunlop, they are quite annoying to get to without a car. The train is a no-go as there is no public train station anywhere near the Fort. A train going from Birmingham New Street to the Fort would be helpful for a lot of people. Anyway, here's a picture I took of Dunlop that's been cartoonized using GIMP image editing software, which is free.
