Robin's Pincushion Picture

Noticed this very strange reddish strand-like thing on a Rose bush while walking along. Never seen anything like it before. I've come to find out that it is commonly called Robin's Pincushion, and its a common gall that develops on some wild rose bushes when one or more of the rose's buds get injected by a small gall wasp. Picture was taken with a Canon S2 IS.
